If your dog is past the chewing phase a properly maintained Pluto’s Lounge Pet Bed cover could last the life of the pet. New fleece blankets and foam replacement pads can be ordered separately.
Vacuuming the top fleece blanket is a quick way to control fleas, pet odor, shedding and muddy animals! Wash the Pluto’s Lounge Fleece Blanket as often as needed. Wash blankets using the regular cycle on your washing machine with regular detergent and then tumble dry.
Attention: Always wash your pet bed cover and blanket separately. This will prevent fleece from clogging the Velcro located on the pet bed cover.
All Pluto’s Lounge Pet Bed Covers are treated with a stain blocker. Regular washing will keep light colored pet bed covers presentable for years.
Remove all pet bed foam components (foam pad and side bolsters) from the pet bed cover before washing. Wash pet bed covers using the regular cycle on your washing machine with regular detergent. Pluto’s Lounge Pet Bed Covers can be tumbled dry on low heat. Drip drying the pet bed cover will extend the life of the cover.
Pet beds that have permeable material on the top of the pet bed load up the pet bed filler with pet dander and get heavier with time. Pluto’s Lounge dog beds maintain the same easy to lift weight throughout the bed’s lifetime. For maximum foam protection (outdoor use or birthing, sick and aging pets.) wrap the foam pad in plastic sheeting before placing the foam in the pet bed cover.
